As a company that prides itself on forward planning, Blum has created a shared leadership team in the UK to prepare and proceed with a plan to ensure the challenges all businesses face are met and dealt with.

Managing Director, Mark Richardson, retired at the end of June 2024, and David Sanders, Sales and Marketing Director, will be taking on a new international role within the Blum Group from July 2024. As a result, a plan to develop the leadership team was set in motion.

The new team took on their new roles as of 1 July 2024. Mark Richardson remains in the business until he leaves next year, supporting and sharing his experience with the new team. David Sanders continues to transition into his new role of International Sales and Marketing Consultant to Blum’s global subsidiaries, while also remaining a Director at Blum UK.

The new Leadership Team for Blum UK is as follows:

Matthew Glanfield – Managing Director

Matthew, an accomplished professional, has extensive experience and a multi-faceted background in people management, customer service, communication, risk management and leadership. As Managing Director of Blum UK, he oversees the management team, operations and strategic direction of the business. His experienced approach drives success and innovation within the company.

Ben Cullum – Sales Director

Ben has been with Blum UK for more than 10 years; he brings strategic vision and a deep understanding of the UK market. Ben is equally at ease in the boardroom or the cabinetmaker’s workshop. As Sales Director, he'll lead the sales management team, inspiring others to showcase maximum Blum value and brand identity.

Ben Muirhead – Head of Business Development & National Sales Manager

Ben has extensive industry experience and has been a valued member of the sales management team for over a decade. He boasts an extensive network of loyal customers and trusted partners. His dynamic problem-solving abilities have led him to become Blum’s expert in developing new business.

Ina Kacenaite – Head of HR & Development

Ina is an expert in people development, drawing on years of experience in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Organisation Development and Coaching. Her adeptness lies in nurturing talent, fostering growth and empowering individuals to reach their full potential.

Priti Briscoe – Head of Operational Processes & Projects

Priti has extensive multi-business knowledge and a decade of dedicated service at Blum UK, possessing an in-depth understanding of its intricate processes. She's a highly experienced project lead who can ensure success with any complex system.

Matthew Walmsley – Head of Sales Controlling & International Exchange

Matthew is the most seasoned team member at Blum UK. He uses his wealth of experience and eye for detail to identify and coordinate business strategies. Additionally, Matthew is crucial in the ever-evolving sales processes and will spearhead Blum UK’s goals in international exchange with global partnerships.
