Checkatrade, the UK online trade directory, which connects tradespeople with homeowners, has partnered with Toolstation for the first time to launch an offer for new members.

Trades signing up for a Checkatrade membership will be eligible to claim a Toolstation gift card, with a value of up to £200 to spend in store, online or via the app. This comes as Toolstation, one of Britain’s fastest growing suppliers of tools, accessories and building supplies, celebrates its 20th year since opening for business back in 2003.

In addition to the sign-up benefit, which runs alongside the option of a £200 fuel card, tradespeople can also enjoy further offers and discounts from their Checkatrade membership, which could save them £470 on average each year. These include up to 10% off business mobile phone plans from EE and up to 10% off van hire from Enterprise®.

To be eligible for the Toolstation gift card, tradespeople must meet Checkatrade’s member criteria, which includes passing a bespoke vetting process and possessing valid public liability insurance.
